How to Spot an Authentic Louis Vuitton
1. Zippers are stamped with the Louis Vuitton Logo
2. Camel-colored handles are painted red at the seams.
3. The "O"s are circular and not oval
4. Louis Vuitton is big on symmetry so the LV logos must not be cut and the seams and logo prints must be matched evenly on both sides.
5. Each bag has a date code consisting of two letters followed by four numbers that state when and where the bag was made. Bags prior to 1980 did not have date codes so if a vintage supposedly made prior to 1980 has a date code, it's most likely fake.
6. The stitches are even and regular.
